I asked this before but no answer. Please help!!

I like to know your experience with Perm for job zone V and ad in paper.
Which one you think will go through easier without the audit.

Our company attorney says master+0 will work. But I am thinking to require some experience will get better chance. I have master with 2 years before joining this company.

Please advice. I appreciate it.

Thank you both for the response. Yes, the new filing fees apply as you rightly said and I was able to Efile also.

The link below was useful in efiling. Just one variation though, USCIS schedules the biometrics appointment, so no need to call the 800 # to schedule one as mentioned in the link.

I entered US on H1 and the officer stamped the I-94 expiry date to the expiry date of the passport. I applied for a new passport but forgot about the I-94 expiry date. Does it mean that my H1B is expired and not valid? Can I re-enter US on the same H1B visa. Or, my H1B is no longer valid and I have to use AP?

Please let me know.

When did your I94 expired?

Even though it expired and if you are having a EAD you are legal.

Your H1B visa is still valid. If you want you can reenter using the same H1B Visa.

All you need is to extend your stay. I think you can do it by contacting CBP office in your area.

I will be travelling outside US using AP by end of this month. I don not have valid stamped visa. Recently small part of my old company (A)got acquired by new company and my job was moved to new company (B)

Lawyer at company B applied for New H1 in May 2008 ( old is still valid till 2009)�but haven�t received approved 797 notice yet.

Can I travel outside US and comeback without haveing approved new 797 notice. I do have EAD and old 797.

Any issues ? I don�t want to abandon my H1 status.

Gurus please advise.

I am in similar situation. If she comes here and we get married "new" and I am GC Holder can she get a GC too ( provided PD is current ) OR I have to wait till I become Citizen and then file ....
I am too confused..

She does not need to do anything but get a job, fill form I-9 and start working again. She is in a period of authorized stay since her I-485 is pending. I don't think it's even necessary to apply H4 for her.

I am not sure if this works or not, but try to create a yahoo group id and add these email addresses as the members of the group.
Then you can just shoot your e-mail to this group address.

hmm..nice try, but I would not like to send the email 60-70 times..

have to do that tonight, if there is no other option.

any other ideas for hacking yahoo?

I am on H1B and must travel to India to take care of a sick parent and would like to apply for 485 and then travel abroad....will this jeopordize my greeen card process?

There is no issue if your wife is the derivative applicant and gets her EAD through you. You can also start but it is more complicated since your business has to be doing excatly the same thing as your labor application. Also, i think you should get lawyers advice if you are starting it. There is no complication for your wife to start a business.

We are currently evaluating our options of starting a business on EAD, which should be coming within 3 months of filing of I485 in July. Does anyone know if I or my wife can start a business on EAD, are there any issues with it?
