I read lot of news from school and I learnt this 'multi-link' business 20 to 25 years back. So as soon as he asked me if I wish to make 'LOT OF MONEY' without working, I understood that the poisonous snakes had entered US long time back.
I had only one encounter 10 years back that went up to the so called 'Business meeting with Tea Party' because I was new to US and these guys were using an updated terminology.
From then on, I enjoy if I meet such people in Malls, grocery stores, Walmarts. I let him talk for about 20 - 30 mins when my wife is shopping. Asking him very basic questions as if I have not seen a $10 bill in my life. By the time he realizes that I am playing, my wife finishes shopping and we leave.
This way you can keep yourself updated on the tricks. Amazingly these guys read technology news a lot than us and upgrade their techniques.

You are so wrong here...its not about growing balls or Americans getting frisked in Indian airports.
It is SRK's BIG EGO that was hurt, the fact that the officer did not "recognize" SRK - the "king khan" and made him go through a rough ordeal. That is all it is about. And to me SRK has never been an honest human being. It is all a put on appearance, whether its in his movies or real life. He is very measured and guarded when talking to the media and presents his affable side. So get over it and look at the incident for what it is - i.e, SRK's big ego burst open. Its not about American security or Indian security or racial profiling. Everyone is just trying to make it out to be that but you need to be able to see thorugh that.
When a person of Dr Kalam's stature did not even talk about his experience with Continental until months later, who the heck is SRK to make it out to be such a big deal? What is his achievement and/or contribution to the country after all? Making loads of money? Buying houses in London and Dubai?? Give me a freakin' break.

The American political system is stands on three pillars; Judiciary, Legislative (Congress), and Executive (President). They have checks and balance on each others. Congress enact bills, president can veto or pass it. Supreme Court is evaluating this passed bill whether it violate the constitute? If it violate the constitute, Supreme Court can be overruled that bill at any time (even if it was passed by Congress and the President).
Constitute says Non-discrimination based on race, sex, country of origin etc. If some one prove in supreme court that per-country quota for Employment based and Family based immigration is violating the constitutional right, Supreme court can overrule this law of per-country quota. It is worth to take advise of expert attorney.
This is my 2 cents !!

I think everything done by over 1000/2000 people together and every subject covered in letters from over 1000/2000 people makes it to the top. Most half educated (which is worst than illiterate) usually give priority to their petty differences and find reasons not to participate, which is why they remain "wise fools".
It will definately help to draw attention to our issues if more people in the community will participate.

Please quote these sites where they mention what is happening in Sri Lanka is a "Genocide". What happened during WWII was a genocide of the Jews. The camps where the IDP's are kept are temporary where they are checked to make sure that there are no suicide bombers, terrorists etc. The LTTE is known to hide behind civilians and attack, like they do now from the safe zone. They are preventing the civilians from leaving the safe zone... so in effect the LTTE is committing a genocide of it's own people. If there is a Genocide then you would see it everywhere in the country, which is not happening. Half my family side is Tamil, and live in the south / central and west of the island. Please do not dismiss this as a tunnel vision, its a reality that will develop into a panoramic scam. I know of a guy in India who is sowing seeds of multi-national manager with a Staffing firm(Desi consulting Co) just for this purpose. Worst he has an individual contributor job with some other company that is in collusion with the staffing firm here to prove he works for the company here( I am guessing as a consultant and taxation with a ghost company of US based company in India). I could not get him to spill the beans on how this whole thing is working but he is confident and has sunk a lot of money into it. Strangely, he was disappointed when I told him even with L1A/EB1 it could take 18 to 24 months. Talk about feeling entitled.
Mind you lot of these guys have registered companies in India already to fish for H1 applicants. We close our eyes on this one, it will break the levees and flood the EB immigration. SO never be coy in dismissing this travesty and mother of all scams that is going to follow.
Guys : Once again I would suggest not to use tunnel vision. I personally know one case of EB1 in cognizant where one of my closest friends who never scored more than me in college exams and doesnt make more than I do got his GC in EB1.

And also add the amount we are paying on regular basis to law firms to talking to their para legals, mental stress and percentage what contracting companies with hold along with amount we are losing because we are not in stable situation to invest in things like real estate.

Defending one's country is one thing and defending fraud and corruption is another thing. Yes, there are lots of great universitites in India like IITs, IIMs, and several Regional Engineering Colleges. But guess what, when it comes to EB2/EB3 genuine IITs and overnight (okay maybe three months) bodyshop graduates are treated the same way. It is for the sake of our profession that we need to weed out these frauds.
Don't make corruption in India as an incentive to thrash Indians. Majority of Indian H1b/L1 like any other community are well skilled professionals. It should not give you an incentive to thrash Indians or India. I am sure you belong to India and I am pretty depressed to see some one trash his own country to get some cheap publicity on this blog. I am not playing a race card but Yes I will defend Indians or Chinese for any attacks by bigots like you.

I have lived in Canada for 15 years, immigration system is healthy and fast enough for my family to come over. My friend who has a Master degree used to work for Xerox, quit his job go back to Canada. After 3 months he found a professional job. Personally I havent encountered such thing as discrimation or no jobs situation as serious as it mentioned on the web site.
