The other provision of allowing 485 applications without current PDs is a bad idea in my opinion. Anyone who enters the country will be eligible for AC21 in 8 months which is about 80% of a GC. Such a provision will result in huge abuse like the L visa and/or Labor substitution.
On the flip side, Spouses on dependent visas who had plenty of experience and who were stuck for years by not being able to work. The provision to apply for 485 applications in july was god send opportunity.

What's the big deal about Shahrukh Khan getting interrogated? One of the top Malayali actors Mammooty had to go through the same experience because of his Muslim name, but he didn't make a big deal about it. Security procedures need to be followed, whether you are Shahrukh Khan or anyone else.

In the absence (to our knowledge) of USCIS URL, it is not possoble to say that dates can not retrogress in the middle of a month. For example, USCIS has no rule of time period between switching jobs. This means they can do whatever they feel like.
I am saying that 2007 GCs can get exhausted at any time independent of I-485s received/approved.

Trust me. I was under the impression that it will be 3-4 years before I see green, but the reality is almost true for me now. Similarly, EB3 folks would get some news by next year. Who knows, the government will change and we have seen how keenly Obama wants a change ;). May be recapturing visas provision will be considered next year and everyone until 2006(EB3) may see some green. We never know. It's all magic and lets hope for the best. :D

Modi did a fabulous job at ripping the congress candidates apart this time.
Apart from feeble retorts from Priyanka no sound came from other members.Funny Rahul Gandhi,touted to be future PM by the party was ducking for cover with 'I don't react' statement repeatedly.
One funny instance:
Congress wanted to make youth a selling point.
Modi was like OK and then he goes 125 year old(budiya) Congress is not able to understand the problems of current day India.So vote for 30 year old BJP.
In response to this Priyanka did the most dumbest thing, she goes about asking Media folks and Amethi people if she looks old?(kya mein budiya lagti hun?) Do Sonia,Rahul look old ,thus playing directly into the hands of opposition.
BJP said when we are talking about Congress party these people are talking about their age.So Congress is Mataji,Putri,Putra(Mother,Daughter,Son).
This one is quite interesting...........

Did you get a job in US before you came to US. Most probably not.
There are a lot of people who come to US blindly like students or consultants. They also landed up jobs (doing what they were meant for and not as cabbies or as janitors) and built careers.
There are no or few body shoppers in canada because there are only a few shops :-D
For the majority this is true in US. This is what land of opportunity means.
It might be true for a few cases in Canada but for the majority it is false advertisement. Canada is not a land of opportunity. This is not a few of those who have been burnt talking. Try getting a job in Canada. Look at the salaries for yourselves.
Folks am again telling this for your own benefit only. I have nothing to gain. I was not wise to do that. So thought I would guide the poor wandering souls here. Dont waste your dollars in Canada PR when you have US GC pending. It will do you no good.

We have enough grounds for lawsuit without them.
That is one way to look at things. The important thing is, whether the Judge looks at the situation the same way. It will be tough job to convince the Judge. If you seek legal opinion from a lawyer, lawyers mostly tend to say that you have a case expecting that that lawyer will be the one filing the lawsuit (i.e. making the money). So be careful with the idea and advise from a lawyer.
And more importantly, even if 'we have a case', do we have folks who are willing to be plaintiff in this lawsuit. Are you or Googler or chandu (because he replied to my earlier posts suggesting that we will find someone to lead) willing to be the plaintiff, or are you encouraging others (putting the gun on other's shoulder to fire) to be the plaintiff. If you see that there is chance/value in filing lawsuit, why don't you decide to be the plaintiff? Either way, if you are a plaintiff or if you know someone who wants to be one, why don't you take this to IV team.
Say we have a case, then to go to the next step we need -
1.) Someone willing to take the initiative/lead
2.) Plaintiff
3.) Resources
4.) There maybe more that I am not able to think at this time, because I no experience of filing class action lawsuit.

For (1.), I suggest someone willing to give out his/her name as plaintiff should contact IV. I saw that folks are discussing this on too, but that site is not a non-profit. That site is owned by some guy who is earning good money of off the ads on his site. Tamils live the same life as Sinhala and Muslims, if you're visited sri lanka you would see that. Schools are open to everyone within their respective distances, tamils conduct business same as muslims and sinhala. What you're discussing is something that happened when the country was given independance and the sinhala policy came into act. got into it, pulled off 3 weeks later. they refunded my investment w/o any issue. but yes never lost that persons contact who got friendly with me for this and we remain good family friends. so there are exceptions.
We also remained good friends with the people who left our group... you know why... because we had no other options as we had no other friends left outside Quixtar (which was Amway before 2001 and is again Amway since 2009)

This analysis is really excellent, how far do you foresee the EB2-I date going this year. Is there any hope for new people to file 485 this year? People who missed Jul 07 have waited long and can wait till next Sep in the hope that we will be able to file 485 this year.

*Company A has filled for my H1B Cancellation on June 20 but have visa stamped (valid till 2010).
* Company B has filed for my H1B Transfer.(Have upgraded to Premium processing)
* Have to enter canada on/before 4th Sept to validate canadian PR (will have to go to canada only for few days).
Q: Can I re-enter in the US from on a VISA(Valid till 2010) from company A + Approved I-797 from company B?
Your help will be appreciated!
