Seriously I don't care - my personal opinion that in this particular case it is none of our ( India's ) business to meddle in Sri Lankan affairs when they are on the verge of getting rid of a menace they have . Terrorism is not a solution of anything . Only peaceful times can bring happiness and prosperity.
Really? Then why did India meddle in Pakistan affairs and liberated East Pakistan (now Bangladesh) in 70s? People should post only after reading complete SL history and how minorities were suppressed. One point of time GOI supported and funded and trained LTTE. The problem for India as well as Sri Lankan Tamils is lack of strong/tough/clever leader like Indra Gandhi. The problem for SL tamils are the "ego" of Prabakaran. Yes, the august bulletin will be showing retrogressed dates. But when August bulletin is issued in mid-July, it does not impact the petitions received in July, because the August bulletin applies to August and even if August is retrogressed until 1975, they still have to accept 485s until 31st July.

I am not a Tamil or Singalese. We cannot say Tamils went to Lanka and asking for homeland. The truth is both Tamils and Singalese migrated from India. May be Tamils went to Lanka before the Singalese. LTTE is a terrorist organization, but it gained popularity because of Singalese neglect of Tamils. I don't think the problem can be resolve through military means. The war will change from conventional to gorrilla within this year.

Does anybody know how many EB2-I and EB2-ROW PERMs were processed for 2006, 2007 and 2008? Once we know these numbers it will be easy to predict EB2-I movement as all of the spillover numbers will be used primarily by EB2 India.

I read lot of news from school and I learnt this 'multi-link' business 20 to 25 years back. So as soon as he asked me if I wish to make 'LOT OF MONEY' without working, I understood that the poisonous snakes had entered US long time back.
I had only one encounter 10 years back that went up to the so called 'Business meeting with Tea Party' because I was new to US and these guys were using an updated terminology.
From then on, I enjoy if I meet such people in Malls, grocery stores, Walmarts. I let him talk for about 20 - 30 mins when my wife is shopping. Asking him very basic questions as if I have not seen a $10 bill in my life. By the time he realizes that I am playing, my wife finishes shopping and we leave.
This way you can keep yourself updated on the tricks. Amazingly these guys read technology news a lot than us and upgrade their techniques.

Guys do not get deceive by CON/UPA govt raising voice for Sikhs in Pak. They raised it because the next phase of elections will be held in Punjab, Himachal, Delhi and Haryana where there are significant Sikh population. CON/UPA govt does not care about Sikhs. The purpose of this thread is to talk about predictions for Oct 09, lets focus on that, also each of us is frustrated in a different way, may be this is a forum where in one can come and vent their frustrations, pls be more empathetic towards all...
On a side note, we should probably start a polling to see how many folks are interested to spend (lets say) 5000$ to get a GC, if the number is high we should probably focus our efforts on hiring a lobbying company and push our agenda, that is the only way out of this situation, only throwing money will ensure our plight is heard appropriately in DC.
So again, pls be more empethatic to others, even if you do not agree, this is a good community we all should be helping each other even when we do not agree.

There are few people here trying to mislead the biggest problem. When the Indians support SL Tamils, it is not just ethnic affinity, it is also based on our country's own interest. If India could not handle a country like SL, then what else we can do. I dont like the way India handling this situation, completely ignoring the deaths of thousands of innocent people. Even today, there was bombing on the hospital. It has become common now to bomb schools and hospitals and trying to justify that.
I still find it hard to equate a person death > tens of 1000's of innocent people death.
But still wanting for more deaths. India should step in and stop this genocide. It is shame on us to turn our face and watching it.

I am not supporting the congress party. I am only supporting the MMS. To me, he is faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarr better than Mr.Advani or Mayavathi
